Volunteer Service

Since 2012, YOKE has promoted corporate volunteer activities in collaboration with Taichung Veterans General Hospital, encouraging employees to participate in volunteer shifts and providing one official leave day per week per volunteer to support participation. Through direct involvement in hospital service settings, employees develop empathy and a sense of social responsibility while assisting others, and in turn bring positive energy back into their daily work and team interactions. As of 2025, corporate volunteer participation has reached 1,147 person-times, with total service hours exceeding 3,400 hours, demonstrating YOKE’s continued commitment to social engagement and the tangible outcomes of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Promotion of High-Altitude Work Safety

YOKE regards the promotion of work-at-height safety awareness as a key pillar of its corporate social impact. In 2025, the Company organized tree-climbing experiences and work-at-height safety education activities at two elementary schools. The program engaged certified professional tree-climbing instructors holding international qualifications to design a comprehensive experiential safety course. The activity systematically guided students in understanding fall protection equipment, including tree-climbing harnesses, climbing ropes, safety helmets, and carabiners. Prior to the activity, safety briefings and inspection procedures were fully completed to ensure that the tree-climbing experience was conducted in a safe and controlled environment for all students.

During the course, professional instructors explained the safety design principles of the equipment as well as the structural characteristics of trees, and provided full guidance to students on the correct use of protective gear. While ensuring safety is fully maintained, students gradually completed the tree-climbing experience, enabling them to develop proper awareness of work-at-height safety through hands-on practice. In addition to safety education, the program also incorporated character education and teamwork elements. Students were organized into groups and guided to assist one another in putting on equipment and preparing for operations. Through mutual encouragement and collaboration, they were able to challenge themselves and build self-confidence. Through work-at-height safety education initiatives, YOKE continues to strengthen positive engagement with local communities and realize the sustainable value of shared social prosperity.
